I’m Whitney: a lifelong student and tea lover.

My bachelors degrees are in Philosophy and International Studies, and my MA in International Security. Since graduation, I’ve been struggling to regain my adolescent love for reading. And thus, BB&GT was born! The hope is for this blog to become a place for me to read with friends and family, many of whom have also expressed an interest in reading more. Watch this space for updates on the multicultural books I read, and the tea I drink.

Outside of the internet, I’m an avid soccer fan, foodie, and natural hair enthusiast. At the center of my life are my family, friends, and dog, who are scattered throughout the United States, the Bahamas, and Turks & Caicos.
